Advertising was my game, doing ads
for Fortune 500 companies for two decades. Then I discovered
computers. Love at first sight. Next step, technical
writing. So now I have two areas of expertise: advertising
and technical writing.
I took a couple of detours between
advertising and technical writing: owning and running
a Tex-Mex eatery in Westchester County, New York and
breeding, raising and training horses near Austin, Texas.
Both of these endeavors made me appreciate the ins and
outs of running a business and what hard work can accomplish.
I communicate well. I know about business.
I love technology and interesting assignments.

In school I studied visual design,
formal analysis, and effective communication. After
law school I worked for several years as a lawyer specializing
in business start-ups. Along the way I developed two
Dallas restaurants, the Grand Hotel and the Stoneleigh
P.
In 1987 Suzanne Hawthorne and I formed
Geezer Geeks.
I am a skilled communicator and information
designer who understands business. I excel at presenting
complex ideas in compelling, jargon-free language. I
never forget that every communication needs audience
appeal to work. My materials are interesting, persuasive
and, when appropriate, entertaining. I know how to tell
your story.
